PhotoMart is equipped and able to deliver high-quality photo prints in a cost effective manner.
We have a selection of carefully chosen papers, which are renowned for their high quality.
Every image is treated individually. We print and hand trim all images, they are not mass produced. Each image is checked four times during the processing to ensure you recieve a flawless print.., yes even the little 6×4’s. They are all treated with the same reverence.
PhotoMart has an ICC (International Colour Consortium) colour managed system. This ensures your images are consistent in colour, density, contrast, saturation and sharpness. The R.I.P (Raster Interface Protocol) we use is a world leader in digital print controllers for wide-format printers. We use a ten-colour digital printing process with archival pigment based inks. Coupled with the very best Photographic and Fine Art Papers we can achieve a large printable colour gamut with amazing saturation and tonal reproduction.
Maintaining printing integrity throughout the process is our highest goal.
Centurion Photo Silk 285 (our Satin Paper)
Centurion Photo Silk is a super white, smooth paper and has the look and feel of a traditional silver halide photo paper because of its true photographic resin coated substrate base. The paper is specifically designed for high quality professional photographic output.
PhotoMart's supplier has worked closely with the mill to develop a new media to meet the demands of the market. Recognising the needs of professional photographers this new media has an increased colour gamut, deeper black density and improved scuff resistance.
Unlike other papers on the market the optical brighteners have been incorporated into the RC base. This unique feature means the paper will be more resistant to fading and yellowing. Optical brighteners can breakdown overtime due to sunlight exposure, moving the OBA’s to the base, gives the paper stronger archival characteristics.
Centurion photo silk has some impressive environmental credentials. Photo silk is 100% virgin fibre, sourced from sustainable forests. It was awarded the Nordic Swan Award - the most demanding ecological mark in international paper.
The mill maintains ISO14001 Environmental Management System certification. It recycles water - uses waste products as energy source - waste and effluent treatment systems in place - no detectable dioxin discharges.

Bamboo 290 retains clean detail and allows for depth and richness in monochrome images and vibrancy in colour artworks.

At 308 gsm this paper provides the weight of an art paper with a rigid calendered surface, which picks up every detail captured. It’s everything you want from a matte fine art paper with excellent image sharpness, optimum colour graduation and very good d-max. Its’ very slight surface texture does not interfere with image detail making. It’s an excellent choice for archival printing of black & white and colour photographs with a matte finish.
Photo Rag UltraSmooth 305gsm is a photo paper with a very smooth homogeneous surface texture and slightly higher white point than Photo Rag 308. Epson UltraChrome K3 HDR Ink:
In building on the advances introduced with the Epson UltraChrome K3 ink with vivid magenta, Epson has engineered the UltraChrome HDR (High Dynamic Range) pigment ink technology. While still retaining its key features, such as three-level black ink for superb grey balance, and smooth tonal gradations from shadow to highlight, UltraChrome HDR comprises several new important innovations that contribute to dramatically enhanced print and colour quality. One of the most significant advantages of the UltraChrome HDR ink is the inclusion of Orange and Green inks, which bring about dramatic expansion in the colour gamut, especially in the bright /vivid green to yellow, and yellow to red ranges. In particular, with the new orange ink, the Epson HDR ink technology delivers a major reduction in image grain that is typically evidenced ink skin tone reproductions.
